Choir & Organists

Your local Choir

The Wayland Choir has had three formations. It began in 1981 under the leadership of the then head teacher of Caston Church of England Primary School and sang until 1987. From 2003 to 2006 it sang under the leadership of a young local organist. Our current formation began in the spring of 2007, when we were invited to sing in our newly conceived United Worship services. It has sung every Sunday since, as well as at various other services, accompanied by organists Christine and Ann.

We practice weekly under the guidance of Karen Allen. We are always keen to have more members, so if you are interested—especially tenors or baritones—please get in touch with Karen (contact details below).
